Dear Fellow People
I am writing this letter to express my deep concern about the worsening garbage problem in our community. As a resident, I have witnessed the rampant littering and illegal dumping of waste, which not only pollutes our environment but also poses health risks to people and animals.
In response to this problem, I would like to propose a campaign called “Basura Mo Ibulsa Mo” (Put Your Garbage in Your Pocket). The concept is simple: we encourage everyone to take responsibility for their waste by carrying a small bag or container with them whenever they go out and dispose of their trash properly in the nearest bin.
I believe that this campaign will not only help address the garbage problem but also promote a sense of environmental responsibility and community involvement among our fellow residents.
In support of this proposal, I have started an online petition on change.org, which has already received significant support from members of our community. I am hoping that you could also support this initiative by endorsing and promoting it through your organization’s various platforms and channels.
Thank you for your attention and support. Together, let us work towards a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable community.
Sincerely,
Darren Dave Palcon J.
